Our Physical Therapist
Mariane Walin, DPT, CIMT
Mariane graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in 2009. She has worked in the out-patient orthopedics setting and also in home healthcare. In 2013 she became a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT). " I chose to specialize in manual therapy when I was in graduate school. I was dealing with continuous injuries from running and figure skating. I had seen other physical therapists in the past but had no success. A professor, who was certified in manual therapy, told me to come see him in the clinic and within a couple of weeks with heavy manual therapy sessions, he was able to get me back to my sports pain free for the first time in years. This experience opened my eyes to what kind of physical therapist I wanted to become. He also gave me back the athletic life I wanted to live." Mariane went on to become a triathlete competing in the Ironman 70.3 world championships, the ITU sprint race world grand finals, finished a the full Ironman in Madison, WI, finished Grandma's marathon, and was 1st place overall female at a local triathlon in Clearwater, MN. Throughout Mariane's life, she has also enjoyed figure skating and her life long passion of horses.
